The Nature Park House
A permanent exhibition on the nature and history of the nature park is presented in six medieval castle rooms.
Hike in the ancient footsteps of the muleteers, learn about the eventful history of the castle, marvel at endangered animal species, experience avalanches and hear how moors and mountain lakes ripple.
NEW: Climate Winners! Climate losers? How are our animals and plants faring in climate change?
The new exhibition revolves around two major sub-areas in particular: "Everything used to be later", for example, explains the effects of climate change on vegetation by means of phenological events, from the earlier start of elder blossom to the rising timberline.
The part "Adaptation, emigration or extinction" deals with effects on the animal world. With a quiz in which visitors can put their knowledge to the test themselves, and stations to touch and marvel at, an attractive programme has also been created for children. Thus, there is also a lot of interesting information for school classes to discover for themselves.
