Historical
Although Haus im Ennstal has been documented since 928, a parish was first mentioned in connection with the founding of the Benedictine monastery of Admont in 1074.
As part of the presentation of religious folklore, examples from the course of the year and the course of life can be seen, and customs that are no longer common today are also recalled.

A special attraction for museum visitors is the large Christmas cot belonging to the family of master baker Resch, which was loaned to the Deanery Museum.
Among the art-historical sights of the deanery museum is the early Gothic Corpus of the Crucified from the former Haus parish church, which was severely damaged by the fire of 1750, but is the only piece of the church's artistic decoration to have survived.
The museum does not only want to be an experience for the guest, but also to convey a lot of the former times to the locals and to contribute to the awareness of Ennstal identity.
Thus, a virtual walk through the museum reveals the diversity of cultural life in the Upper Enns Valley.
