Starting from the high seat, a serpentine trail, always with panoramic views of the Donnersbachtal valley, leads slightly uphill through the avalanche [GALLERIES] and ends at 1,950m above sea level at the "Summit of Art" directly at the summit cross of the Hausberg.
Along this trail, 10 art showcases stand under the protection of the existing avalanche galleries and are stocked annually with artworks by a wide variety of regional artists.

The play on words avalanche [GALLERY] has two meanings here.
Nowhere else is it possible to use such shelters as a unique exhibition space and marvel at them up close.
40 years notwithstanding, the avalanche galleries at Riesner-Krispen only offered protection to ski guests on the ski slopes and in the open area.
With the Avalanche [GALERI] project, they were made accessible to summer guests and transformed into a unique art venue in the fascinating mountain world of the Donnersbachtal.

The on-site Avalanche Experience [GALERIE] on the Riesneralm can be hiked to at any time. Up to the entrance to the exhibition, the mountain is easily accessible by two sections of the Riesneralm cable car.
