The project
"Avalanche[GALLERY] - at the summit of art"
Artists of various styles present their works to a wide audience in an extraordinary location.
The unique exhibition space of the Avalanche [GALLERY] almost suggests itself for this purpose.
There are avalanche galleries all over the Alps - but no one has ever succeeded in turning them into an art gallery.
"Avalanche[GALLERY] - at the summit of art"
A unique project that combines art and nature awaits you on the Riesneralm.
It will delight big and small guests alike and let artists tell their exciting stories.
By integrating an existing avalanche gallery and using it in the summer months, a completely new perspective of these protective structures is created.
EVENTS on the Riesneralm
Traditional BERGFEST on the Riesneralm
On Sunday, 11 August 2024, the music group "OBERKRAINER POWER" will be playing at 1,900 metres in Donnerbachwald.
- The event starts with the yodelling brass band Ewald & Martin at 10:00 am,
- at 11:00 am mountain mass accompanied by the Donnersbachwald music band.
- The concert with the "Ursprung Buam" starts at around 12.30 pm, admission is free!
