The exhibition "Zeitspuren" (traces of time) leads back into the history of Gröbming's origins up to 2000 years and begins with the ROMAN STONE found in Gröbming.
Myth of antiquity
The current special exhibition at the Gröbming Museum is dedicated to Greek antiquity. The exhibition entitled "Mythos Antike" was curated by Prof Dr Wilfried Seipel and presents central themes such as the world of the gods, philosophy, art and science using sculpture replicas, ceramics and paintings.
Visitors can also learn how later eras interpreted antiquity.
The exhibition is open until 31 October 2025 and is well worth a visit as it offers fascinating insights into Greek culture.
