An orphan, taken in by the sexton's lodge, became a celebrated musician: Hans Posch. His historic parlour tells a story of adoption, talent, and an unusual path – right in the middle of the secluded Sölktal.
The Culinary Delights of the Sölktal Valley
What came to the table was shaped by the seasons and by holidays. This room displays typical dishes, customs, and the culinary side of a valley that made a lot out of little.
Bruno Holzinger - the farmer doctor with a special gift
Bruno Holzinger knew the medicinal herbs of the Sölk valleys like no one else. In his parlour, knowledge of plants and home remedies tell of a time when medicine still came from the garden – and of a gift that became known far beyond the valley.
